"For those who can’t or don’t want to help with child
care, enlist their support to help with the housework
or do grocery shopping and other errands.
Remember that you have to ask. Don’t expect
others to read your mind and then become
resentful when they don’t."
Quoted from "Secrets of the Baby Whisperer: How to Calm, Connect and Communicate with Your Baby" by Hogg, Tracy.
Am currently reading this book.. and hope to share the above quoted from the book with you..
I found this impact exactly on what I did so far... I am suffering all on myself and sometimes when I can't cope with work, childcare, errands, and I still have unsettle grocery shopping.. I am always at the tension and stress side all on my own.. I think I have to learn not to expect if my hubby will understand this.. or how stress am I if I missed the week of grocery shopping/wet market shopping.. I have to urge for help.. I have to voice out if he can help me with errand or shopping.. the points is I have to voice out!!!! yeah I have to learn to voice it out.. learn to communicate.. yeah.. am still learning :(
